For appraisal schools: reach students who already have a supervisor
The Appraisal Foundation has said that “in many markets, trainees cannot find a mentor, creating a barrier to entry in the profession” (2020). Our members are encouraged to line up a supervisor before or while they take their courses, so the potential trainees and trainees we send you are:
- Pre-qualified: they’ve built a profile with their state, track, availability and course plan
- Ready to enroll: they’re lining up a supervisor before or while they study, so they have a clear reason to finish
- Easy to reach by state: target the states and metro areas you’re approved to teach in
The Potential Trainee discount
Offer a discount, such as on your 83-hour trainee package or the supervisor/trainee course, to potential trainees: members who joined Supervisor Match before starting courses. Because they’re already talking to supervisors before they enroll, they’re in a stronger position to finish and go on to log experience hours.

We’re inviting qualifying-education schools to offer a member benefit, such as a course discount, to potential trainees who joined Supervisor Match before starting their courses. No perks are live yet, and we’ll never list a school that hasn’t signed up.
